Gabbie Stallbaum signed a letter of intent to play softball at Heidelberg University on Friday, December 11. She will be in a Pre-Health Professionals Program and plans to be a Physician’s Assistant. Gabbie is a straight A Senior at Paulding High School and the daughter of Ted and Camie Stallbaum.
Gabbie has been playing softball from the age of 4 and in 6th grade hit her first real home run. At age 8 she was invited to play travel softball and has played on travel teams ever since. She has been lucky to have some very good coaches, including her dad. She is currently playing for the NWO Heat and plays year-round.
Gabbie is both excited and humble. “I am really thankful to my family for all the help and support they have given me over the years,” Gabbie commented. She is looking forward to her last softball season at Paulding.
