On Friday, December 11, 54 seventh and eight graders participated in the spelling bee at Wayne Trace Jr. High. Gage Ogle correctly spelled defector and scuttlebutt to win the bee. Nichole Kennedy had to spell superintendent to become the runner-up. Gage will advance to the county spelling bee in January. Congratulations Gage!
