To all Paulding County residents, this is a reminder that the registration period for dogs is upon us. Registration/licensing of ALL dogs in the county is required! This includes big dogs, small dogs, inside dogs, outside dogs, hunting dog, companion dogs, city dogs, country dogs, black dogs, white dogs, brown dogs, etc…….You get my point. Every dog over 3 months of age must be registered/licensed.
Open registration period runs from December 1st through January 31st. For your convenience, registration/licensing can be done online through the Paulding County Auditors webpage, as well as through the US Postal Service or by utilizing the drop box at the east side doors courthouse. (include a self-addressed stamped envelope)

A small handling and shipping fee will be added for online registration.
Any dog found to not be registered/licensed after January 31st will receive a citation which can carry a fine of $112 + costs. Then you will also be required to register/license you dog at that time at a cost of $36. So, you can spend now to save about $150 later. Kind of a no-brainer!
