Paulding County Sheriff Jason Landers hands a donation check over to Scoutmaster Brian Holbrooks of Oakwood Boy Scout Troop 19. This year the Sheriff’s Office staff turned the no-shave November fundraiser into a 3 month fundraiser in memory of long-time employee, Keith Leatherman. Leatherman served in various capacities within the Sheriff’s Office from 1979 until his passing in 2020. Staff members were honored to have raised $950, which was turned over here to Mr. Holbrooks.
Landers stated, “Keith was very proud of his experience with the scouts and having made Eagle Scout. I am honored to make this donation to a group that meant so much to him in his memory.”
