IRS SCAM: 1099-G FORM is being sent to individuals throughout the State of Ohio. This form deals with Unemployment Benefits. The form shows them what they made in Unemployment for year 2020, but the individuals receiving the forms did not collect any Unemployment Benefits for 2020.
If you receive the 1099-G form from the Ohio Department of Job & Family Services and you have not received any Unemployment Benefits during the 2020 year you are to contact Ohio Department of Job & Family Services at 1-877-644-6562 and tell them you did not receive any unemployment benefits and they will send you a corrected form.
