The season came to a close for the Antwerp Lady Archers on Friday night as Hilltop blanked the blue and white 11-0 in the Division IV district championship at Bryan.
Kodi Brenner limited Antwerp to one hit in the contest with four strikeouts in pitching the Cadets to the win. Brenner also walked five Archers in the contest.
Kearstyn Pierce had the lone single for the blue and white.
Emerson Litzenberg took the loss for Antwerp, allowing eight hits and a pair of walks while striking out three.
Alex Horton led the way for the Lady Cadets with a triple and a home run while Hannah Riley added a pair of singles.
Leanna Baker also had a double for Hilltop with Brenner, Sara Barnum and Layman each picking up a single.
Hilltop advances to play Mohawk in the regional semifinals at Defiance on Wednesday. Wayne Trace squares off with New Riegel in the other game at Defiance that day.
