Come join in the fun by participating in two FREE events sponsored by the Woodburn Lions Club on Saturday, June 26–the annual Chalk Walk and, new this year, a Donut Decorating Contest! The Chalk Walk, which will take place between 9 am and noon, is open to Pre-K through high school students. Participants can register at the basketball court in the park the day of the event and will receive a box of colored chalks to help them create a 4′ x 4′ design based on the theme “Fun in the Sun.” Cash prizes will be awarded at 1pm.
All creative culinary artists are invited to participate in our new Donut Decorating Contest. Participants of all ages should register between 7am and 11am at the Donut Trailer in the park where they will receive two free Lions Club plain donuts in a box. They can then bring those donuts home to decorate, using only edible materials, and return their entry to the Donut Trailer by 5pm when the judging will take place. Cash prizes in various age groups will be awarded at 6pm.
