The Village of Antwerp recently put out feelers for a new Village Administrator, as Sara Keeran recently put in her resignation.
Mayor Jan Reeb said they received numerous applications and one so happened to be from Brian Davis. The village council selected Davis in a non-regular meeting by an emergency resolution.
Bryce Steiner from the West Bend News interviewed Brian Davis and he gave us insight into his positions that he currently holds and how he will guide the Village into the future.
Brian was elected and currently serves as a Williams County Commissioner. Since 2007, he has sat on the board and and has been reelected regularly by his constituents. For the past 14 and a half years he has put 110% into making Williams County, along with other leaders, the place that it is today.
Brian and his wife of thirty one years, Kathy, have two daughters and six grandchildren. They attend and serve at the First Brethren Church in Bryan.
With all of this background Brian believes the town of Antwerp has great potential, and his goal is make things run smoothly and correctly, with the rules fairly applied. He has an in-depth knowledge of the Ohio Revised Code as he has had to study it as a Commissioner.
The council has set Brian’s office at the Depot just as before. When he cannot be there, he will be working from home.
