Indiana Wild is a Woodburn business, inspiring live animal conservation through outreach education programs. Indiana Wild believes that forming a positive, tactile, emotional connection with animals in an educational setting will foster a foundation of conservation and a love of wild things.
Indiana Wild also believes that animals are not simply a natural or scientific part of our world, but that they are intrinsically connected to people through culture. Animals play a significant role in human religion, science, history, art, folklore, mythology, medicine, sports,
Some of our local appearances include many events at the Memorial Coliseum (Outdoor Sports Show, WMEE Baby Fair, Home & Garden Show, Grabill country fair, Johnny Appleseed…to name a few). We also appear locally at the Allen County Fairgrounds, libraries birthday parties and schools around the Tri-State area.
Most of our animals have at one time or another been someone’s pet and all of our interactions include responsible pet ownership as well as Indiana Conservation.
This year Indiana WILD and The Firehouse Reception Hall & Event Center will be hosting their 1st ever Trunk or Treat at the event center located at 3322 Honway Ct.Fort Wayne, IN 46806 to celebrate Indiana WILD’s 10th anniversary as well as celebrating the new ownership of The Firehouse Reception Hall & Event Center by Tina & Michael Lovett.
Halloween is also a busy season for us, stated Beth Wood Director of Indiana Wild. “People associate lots of Creepy & Amazing Critters around Halloween…it is a perfect time to introduce guests to Ambassadors such as Sir Bubo or Eurasian Eagle Owl, cockroaches Beetoven & Mozart and many others.” Which is why hosting a Trunk or Treat including an Indiana WILD Live Animal Show seemed appropriate.
The event includes Trunks to Trick or Treat 12:15pm , costume contest Special visit with Jared the Comfort Dog, Special guests appearances, Touch a Truck, Live animal show 1pm and much more…Event is 12 noon-2:30pm. Rain or shine (event will move indoors).
