My name is Melanie Forrer. I am a lifelong resident of Payne, Ohio and a graduate of Wayne Trace High School, and Ohio Northern University. Together, my husband Mike and I have three children who have graduated from Wayne Trace, and our youngest son is currently a Sophomore at Wayne Trace.
Upon graduation for college, I chose to move back to the area because I believed in what Wayne Trace stood for and in the education I received. The small town values, Christian-centered education, and support system shown throughout this school district, made it an obvious choice for raising my own children here. I have been involved in the Wayne Trace school system as a student, coach, and parent and the success of Wayne Trace is of the utmost importance.
My main goal is to focus on the mental health of our students, staff, and administration. Mental health does not discriminate. These past one and a half years have been trying for all of us. We must continue to provide a safe work environment for our students, teachers, and administration, while trying to maintain some sense of normalcy.
I hope you, too, will believe that I am a highly qualified candidate for the Wayne Trace School Board. Election day is on November 2nd.
Melanie Forrer is a WRITE-IN candidate. Write-in candidates must be filled out on the blank line and fill in the circle beside the name.
