Oakwood Elementary held a “Share Your Passion” Day on Monday, November 22nd. Many adults from the community came in to share their passion as the students have been learning about people who pursue a passion in their “7 Mindsets” lessons. Along with Alex and Sadie above, Jaci and Laurie Schlatter with first grader, Preston Schlatter brought in two cakes they decorated. One cake was left as a gift for a student to win. The winner was Isaiah Hopkins, a kindergartener who celebrated his birthday on November 24th. Tyler Stork was with his first grade son Easton and another first grader, Alex Manz. He shared of his passion of working with metal and wood to make lovely signs for people to purchase.
