Judy Hook is a small business owner who originates from Hicksville, OH. She has been a cosmetologist for 46 years and about eight years ago began her journey into essential oils. She is certified in AromaTouch Technique which involves the clinical application of eight specific oils that are applied to the back and feet. Hook has worked with nursing home residents — using essential oils and the power of human touch to attain positive responses to her clients has given her encouragement in God’s leading of her endeavors.
Hook began Reflexology courses at the Reflexology Certification Institute in Worthington, OH in March 2021, and after five months of studying, practicing, and taking tests (which made Judy a little nervous indeed!), she is now a Certified Reflexologist.
What is Reflexology?
Reflexology is a science that deals with the principle that there are reflex areas on the feet and hands that correspond to all of the organs, glands and parts of the body. Reflexology is not massage but a unique method using the thumb and fingers on these reflex areas. It is a modality that has been around for over 5000 years. It was first discovered as pictograms on cave walls of a doctor. Reflexology is becoming more popular as people continue to search for natural health solutions.
Reflexology can support neuropathy, digestive issues, migraines, anxiety, sinus/allergy issues and so much vvvvmore. All ages of people can benefit from reflexology and sessions are tailored to each individuals’ needs/concerns working with their feet and/or hands.
