The Paulding County Economic Development Board has introduced a new logo for the Paulding County Economic Development office. The new logo design will quickly identify Paulding County by its bold lettering, the unique shape of the county, and by the profound outline of the historic courthouse.
The PCED board approved the design recommended by the marketing committee. The committee members include: Chairman and PCED Board member Ryan Whitaker (Lapham Hickey); PCED Board member Sarah Noggle (OSU Extension Educator); Fred Manz (InSource); Tim Brown (Brown Made Media); Kristen Schilt (PCED Office Manager), and Kelly Goyings, owner of Natural Design and Graphics, whose team also designed the logo.
“The previous logo is an outstanding seal. It identifies many aspects of Paulding County and highlights our rivers, our agriculture and manufacturing. It does, however, take a minute to study and realize what the seal is indicating and portraying. The new logo will be a quick and easy identification that the information being presented is from, and about, Paulding County,” stated Tim Copsey, Director of the PCED office.
The PCED Board consists of eleven board members from around Paulding County. The board is guided by President Larry Manz (InSource), Jim States (State Bank Manager – Paulding), George Carter (Paulding-Putnam Electric Co-Op), Mike Kauser (Kauser Trucking), Greg White (Paulding Village Mayor), Bud Koenig (Cooper Farms), Don Oberlin (Antwerp CIC), Jeff Mumma (Antwerp Exchange Bank), Brett Wagner (Wagner Roofing & Construction), Whitaker and Noggle. Larry Manz added “We made a logo that is simple yet comprehensive. It will be easier to use in printed and digital materials.”
