LATTY, OH:
Marvin L. Gray, age 62, passed away on Monday, January 17, 2022 at Ann Arbor VA Medical Center, Ann Arbor, MI.
Marvin was born on March 31, 1959 in Paulding, Ohio to Harry F. and the late Donna L. (Smith) Gray. On January 13, 1979, Marvin married Nancy Mullen, who survives. For six years, Marvin has worked as a service writer in the automotive department at WalMart in Defiance, OH. Marvin proudly served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army for 13 years. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) – Van Wert and V.F.W. Post #5803. Marvin was also a loyal member of Auglaize Chapel Church of God in Oakwood, OH.
Marvin is also survived by his son, Charles (Erica) Gray, Harlan, IN; brother, Michael (Regina) Gray, Latty, OH; sisters, Debora Williamson, Paulding, OH and Dianna (Randall) Cotton, LaGrange, GA; as well as four grandchildren: Braeden, Brielle, Liam, and Caitrin.
Marvin is also preceded in death by two sons, Anthony and William Gray.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, January 24, 2022 at Den Herder Funeral Home with Rev. Stan Harmon officiating. Burial will be in Hedges Cemetery, Jackson Township with military rites accorded by Paulding V.F.W.
Visitation will be 1:00-5:00 P.M. on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at Den Herder Funeral Home. There will also be visitation from 10:00 A.M. until time of services on Monday.
