ANTWERP, OH:
Cara Lou Handy, 95, of Antwerp passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at The Manor, Antwerp.
Cara Lou was born in Antwerp, Ohio on August 8, 1926, a daughter of the late Thelma (Hallock) and Robert Lichty.
She loved her family and considered many people she met part of her family. Cara Lou was a devoted member of the First Presbyterian Church of Antwerp.
She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Carol (Michael) Brown; Ava (Hazen) Kennedy & Linda (Roland “Pudge”) Kennedy; grandchildren, Caren (Eric) Miglin, Craig (Kristi) Brown, Amy (Michael) Helf, Christa (Chad) Brubaker, Cale (Jaime) Brown, Alison (Alex) Nehls, Sarah (Dale) McCorkle, Judd Helms & Greta (Jeremy) Kosch. 18 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.
Cara Lou was also preceded in death by her husband, Gene Handy; daughter, Marcia (Phil) Helms & brother, Myron “Bud” (Betty) Lichty.
Private services were held at Dooley Funeral Home.
Cara Lou was laid to rest in Maumee Cemetery, Antwerp.
