Around 1:00 p.m. reports came in of a kitchen fire on W Perry St in downtown Paulding. Paulding Pancake House kitchen fire appeared to be under control, but then they called in the Paulding Fire Department and backup requests for Grover Hill, Auglaize and Scott Fire Departments. The Paulding County Board of Elections building which is adjoining to the Pancake House reported smoke inside their building.
US127 traffic is rerouted to the north side of the square for safety with both Jackson St & Williams St blocked off. AEP is working on turning off the power right now.
