Green Meadows Conference 7th & 8th Girls Champions

The Paulding seventh grade girls basketball team claimed the Green Meadows Conference tournament championship on Saturday with a 22-14 win over Fairview at Paulding Junior High School. The Lady Panthers finish the season with a record of 14-2 on the season. 

Members of the squad included (front L-R) Caroline Winans, Careen Winans, Aubree Miller and Ryann Jay. In the back row are (L-R) Caitlyn Mead, Samaria Williams, Addison Stoller, Lexi Moore, Torree Sinn and coach Kelly Davis. Also a member of the team but absent on Saturday was eighth grade player Stella Laukhuf.

The Wayne Trace eighth grade girls basketball team claimed the Green Meadows Conference tournament championship on Saturday with a 32-18 victory over Fairview at Paulding High School. Caroline Winans led the way for the Lady Raiders with 16 points and Lexi Moore added seven for the red, white and blue. Addison Stoller (five), Careen Winans (two) and Caitlyn Mead (two) completed the scoring for Wayne Trace, which closes the year with a record of 17-2.
