Two Bulldog freshmen and one senior will advance to State Wrestling next weekend beginning February 18th. This is a first in New Haven athletics history that two freshmen advance to the State level.
106 – Julianna Ocampo placed 4th in her weight class for the day at semi-state this past weekend. Julianna is the second female ever to qualify for state and also one of two freshmen to qualify for state.
113 – Easton Doster placed 3rd in his weight class for the day. He is the second freshman to qualify for state
285 – Josh Clark had an amazing day at semi-state! He pinned the #1 seed then went to pin his way to 3rd place.
All three of these bulldog wrestlers will have to wrestle and win their first match Friday night to place on Saturday at state.
