Downtown Paulding is looking a little more vibrant these days. The Paulding Chamber of Commerce’s Adopt-A-Pole Banner program is now on full display. Last fall planning began to place banners on the twelve street poles that surround the Paulding County Courthouse. After months of planning and the support of twelve local business sponsors including Kiwanis Club of Paulding County, MetaLINK Technologies, Northwest State Community College, Defiance/Paulding Consolidated Job and Family Services, Paulding County Area Foundation, Paulding County Hospital, Paulding Putnam Electric Coop, Shisler Insurance Agency, State Bank & Trust, Straley Realty & Auctioneers, Inc., The Union Bank Company, and Vantage Career Center Adult Education, the spring banners were put up right before Easter weekend. Each season the banners will be changed ensuring that the downtown continues looking beautiful all year round.
