This past week 5th and 6th grade students from Antwerp, Oakwood, Paulding, WT Grover Hill, and WT Payne Elementary participated in the GATE (Gifted and Talented Education) Think-a-Thon hosted by the 6th grade students at WT Grover Hill Elementary. They competed in both indoor and outdoor thinking stations that incorporated problem solving, plexors, analogies, and word play. They wrapped up their day with lunch and a friendly game of kickball. As the back of our shirts say, “You really made your brain sweat!”
