After leading his squad to a share of the Green Meadows Conference championship, Antwerp senior Luke Krouse was voted the 2022 GMC Baseball Player of the Year in voting by the league’s coaches.
Krouse was joined on the all-GMC first team by senior teammates Chase Clark and Hunter Sproles along with Paulding senior Sam Woods. Wayne Trace sophomore Cooper Wenzlick picked up all-league first team honors as well.
Tinora put three players on the first team as well in seniors Nolan Schafer, Casen Wolfrum and Cole Commisso. Ayersville junior Blake Hauenstein and Fairview senior Nathaniel Adkins garnered first team selections as well.
Second team honors went to Wayne Trace senior Allen Minck and sophomore Kyle Forrer along with Paulding junior Jacob Martinez. Other GMC second team selections included Tinora senior Jayden Berman, Ayersville sophomore Abe DeLano, Fairview junior Eli Shininger, Edgerton junior Corey Everetts, Hicksville junior Aaron Klima, Ayersville sophomore Luke DeLano and Fairview senior Brady Karzynow.
Recording honorable mention were Antwerp junior Ethan Lichty, Ayersville senior Tyler Winzeler, Edgerton freshman Corey Herman, Fairview junior Adam Lashaway, Hicksville junior Brody Balser, Paulding senior Logan Tope, Tinora sophomore Kadyn Radzik and Wayne Trace sophomore Tucker Antoine.
