Ohio State Fair took place recently down by the state capital as it does every year. 4-H students and FFA students from all across the state participate in this prestigious event every summer. They dedicate their young lives to projects in which they are passionate about and some of which they may see a future career.
This year three Paulding County students chose Horse projects in which to compete at the Paulding County Fair.
Ally Jo Merriman, is a FFA student at Paulding High School and she placed well enough at the PC Fair to qualify for State.
Beth Miller is a FFA student at Wayne Trace High School. She also did well enough at the County Fair to qualify for State.
Delaney Johanns is a 4-H student at Paulding Junior High School and went to State Fair with Merriman and Miller.
Ally Jo earned 8th place in Reining at the 2022 Ohio State Fair, Beth earned 4th in Horse Show, and Delaney gave a strong show but did not place at State.
This is a major accomplishment for our little Paulding County to have three students compete at the state level, but then to have two students place. You all are #pauldingcountystrong!!!
