Congressman Bob Latta (R-OH5) joined the USO Congressional Caucus on Capitol Hill to assemble USO Care Packages, filled with snacks, toiletries, and other items that will be delivered to military service members stationed around the world. The USO strengthens America’s military service members by keeping them connected to family, home, and country, throughout their service to the nation. This has been a timed honor tradition for Congressman Latta. He has participated for many years until the COVID-19 pandemic put the event on hold. Today is the first time since 2019 that the event is once again being held.
“This morning, I had the opportunity to pack USO care packages alongside my fellow members,” said Latta. “While this will never repay the sacrifices that our service members make for our country, it will bring a few necessities and a little slice of home to wherever they are serving around the world.”
