On to Regionals for Woodlan Warriors Cross Country Teams! Lady Warriors finished in 5th place and Men Warriors finished in 4th place. The cooler weather helped with fast times by all the warrior runners. Leading the lady warriors was Katy Niles taking 3rd place with a time of 19:50, followed by Mae Emenhiser in 10th place with a time of 20:30, Cara Chen in 23rd place with a time of 21:31, Riley Zent in 41st place with a time of 23:03, Breanna Lake in 45th place with a time of 23:25, Morgan Miller in 54th place with a time of 23:52 and Bethany Lockridge in 65th place with a time of 24:47.
Leading the men warriors was Carter Hohenbrink in 15th place with a time of 17:40, followed by Nate Lockridge in 19th place with a time of 17:55, Brady Garrison in 26th place with a time of 18:04, Ryan Hubbart in 32nd place with a time of 18:16, Johnathan Baxter in 40th place with a time of 18:34, Collin Klepper in 48th place with a time of 19:02 and Cooper McDaniel in 65th place with a time of 20:10. Regionals take place at Indiana Wesleyan University, October 15, 2022.
On to Semi-State for Katy Niles and Mae Emenhiser. Katy Niles was the #3 individual qualifier and Mae Emenhiser was the #8 individual qualifier.
Ladies Warriors finished 8th at regionals with Katy Niles leading the team finishing 4th with a time of 19:56. Mae Emenhiser finished 20th with a time of 20:55, Cara Chen finished 31st with a time of 21:24, Riley Zent finished 66th with a time 23:17, Brenna Lake finished 71st with a time of 23:38, Bethany Lockridge finished 79th with a time of 24:39 and Morgan Miller finished 80th with a time of 24:44.
Men Warriors finished 7th at regionals with Carter Hohenbrink finishing 26th with a time of 17:33.5. Nate Lockridge finished 28th with a time of 17:33.9, Ryan Hubbart finished 51st with a time of 18:13, Johnathan Baxter finished 60th with a time of 18:36, Brady Garrison finished 72nd with a time of 19:10, Collin Klepper finished 84thwith a time of 20:25 and Cooper McDaniel finished 85th with a time of 20:45.
