Pictured above are two representatives: Lynn Oechsle (L) and Beth Conn (R) of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church of Convoy, presenting a check to Sandy Knight, Office Manager of First UM Church in Van Wert. Trinity Church recently closed its doors and sold the building. They are disbursing remaining funds to charity organizations throughout the area. Proceeds with this check will assist Operation Back to School and the Community Food Pantry housed at First UM. First United Methodist Church thanks Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church and its members for the donation.
