PAYNE, OH:
Nedra N. Cox, 76, of Payne, Ohio passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at home surrounded by her family. She will join her loving husband of 54 years Michael in heaven with their favorite dogs Sadie and Miracle.
Nedra was born in Fort Wayne on May 25, 1946, a daughter of the late Keith Rondot and Ilah (Babinger).
Nedra graduated from Paulding H.S. in 1964 where she was a member of various social clubs and a member of the state finalist marching band. Nedra later graduated from Parkview Nursing School with an RN Degree where she began her career in nursing.
She will be sadly missed and is survived by her sister Rebecca Mercer and brother David Rondot (wife Anni); her brother in-law Jack (wife Renee); her children, daughter Jessica (husband Kirk Ray); son David (husband Joe Garmyn); grandchildren Sydney Sheedy, Owen Sheedy, Samantha Sheedy, and 4 step-grandchildren.
For those who knew Nedra, she never missed a sporting event of her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling with her husband Mike and their boating friends. She loved to be at the lake and up North and rarely was seen without a smile or a warm greeting. She was a loving and caring person who would always tell you…”1, 2, 3…. Let it be!”
Visitation is Friday, January 13, 2023, from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at Dooley Funeral Home 5761 SR 500, Payne, Ohio 45880.
Service is Friday, January 13, 2023, at 10:30 at Dooley Funeral Home.
She will be laid to rest at Wiltsie Cemetery.
