LEESBURG, IN:
James E. Myers, 79, of Leesburg, Indiana passed away on Thursday August 4,2022 in his residence.
James was born on July 23, 1943, in Cecil, Ohio to Rola and Bernice (Copsey) Myers. He was united in marriage to Linda Scherer in Fort Wayne, Indiana on June 21, 1980.
He was a graduate of Antwerp High School in Antwerp Ohio. James was retired from the RV industry as a shipping manager for over 40 years. He enjoyed cooking, fishing, gardening but above all he cherished the time he spent with his family.
James will be lovingly remembered by his wife Linda Myers of Leesburg, his 3 daughters, Kim Grover of Antwerp Ohio, Julie Myers of Hicksville Ohio, and Heather Scherer of Columbia City, his 3 sons, Kevin Myers of Bluffton Ohio, Brandon Myers of Columbia City and Jason (Jessica) Myers of Leesburg. James will also be missed by his 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
A celebration of James’ life will be held at a later date. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapels have been entrusted with the arrangements for the family.
