The Village of Antwerp expedited the hiring process of a new Fiscal Officer with the vacancy left by Aimee Lichty when she submitted her letter of resignation to Council on February 6, 2023. After Mayor Jan Reeb accepted the resignation she moved forward with the Personnel Committee in hiring a replacement. The mayor, along with Bryan Smith and Brian Davis, interviewed Kevin Hornish of Oakwood to fill the vacancy for the interim until the position can be seated permanently. The mayor submitted her recommendation to Council stating that Hornish is a very qualified candidate for this position. At Wednesday’s Village Council meeting, Council voted to hire Hornish for the interim position. Welcome to Antwerp, Kevin!
