Antwerp Local School is happy to present Freaky Friday the Musical. Middle and high school students have combined their talents, under the direction of Mary Smith, to present this fun, coming-of-age musical. The story provides a glimpse of what it feels like
walking in someone else’s shoes for 24 hours. Families will find themselves relating to the experiences of the mother, played by senior Hope Roebel, and daughter, played by sophomore Allison Carnes, who trade places for the day, learning how tough life can be for the other.
Additional cast members include: senior Gavin Clevinger, who plays the teen heartthrob; 6th grader Aleta Sorrell, kid sister and puppeteer extraordinaire; and senior Zack DeVall, the soon-to-be husband and dad who navigates this crazy day with the family. The cast is filled with many other talented students, including Mallory Barker, Elliana Burnett, Alia Clem, Simon and Lucy Conley, Madeline Coressel, CJ Eaton, Sara Farr, Lexy Hicks, Isabella Jackson, Kaira Jones, Makenna Lawson, Danica Lehman, Taylor Lockhart, Katie Phares, Eden Shurherk, and Anneliese Zijlstra.
Show dates are Friday, March 17th and Saturday, March 18th at 7 p.m. and Sunday, March 19th at 2 p.m. Tickets are available in the high school office starting Monday, March 13th or at the door before performances begin.
