Monday April 10th started the week with some drier and warmer spring weather and high school softball action.
Hosting at the Raider fields, Wayne Trace softball met the Heritage Lady Patriots on the mound.
The Lady Patriots crossed the state line and were ready to play. It took both teams the first four innings to get warmed up as it was a scoreless game till then. Heritage put 2 runs on the scoreboard at the top of the 5th inning. This lead was kept through the 6th, and then in the 7th, the Lady Raiders made a rally attempt in the bottom of the 7th with 3 runs, but the Patriots gained 3 runs in the top of the 7th.
