On March 30, A resident of North Garden Apartments reported that his phone was being hacked and monitored by a man in Florida and being used to access the black web. The officer questioned the individual and asked if he had any proof or any reason why he thought that and the individual said he had no proof.
On March 31, Antwerp Police Department received radio traffic from Paulding County Sheriff Office and was told there was a tornado warning and severe thunderstorm waring for the Antwerp area. Officer patrolled the area during the storm.
On April 2, A resident of North Garden Apartments reported suspicious activity. The caller claimed a woman could be heard outside crying. Officer arrived and was unable to locate anything.
On April 2, A resident of Frank Leinard Mobile Home Park reported that his vehicle had been stolen. It was determined that the individual that took the vehicle was Patrick Gager. Information about the vehicle was entered into the system. There was also a felony warrant for Patrick Gager’s arrest
On April 3, It was reported that on April 1 an Amazon truck had backed into one of the buildings at Park Avenue Villas. A report was prepared.
On April 4, A resident of North Garden Apartments reported suspicious activity.
On April 4, A resident of Maple Dr. reported two individuals claiming they were with Ever Dry water company and they asked to see the basement. After allowing them in his home, he was concerned it was some sort of a scam. The individual was told no one was issued a permit for door to door sales, and in the future he should refrain from allowing sales people in his home and to contact police.
On April 4, A resident of NGA reported suspicious activity. They stated there were people outside screaming and could hear a woman crying. Officer was unable to locate anyone.
On April 5, A resident contacted the mayor in reference to a motor home parked on Main St. The caller believed it was in violation of Antwerp’s zoning regulations. The call was forwarded to the zoning inspector.
On April 5, A resident complained about a dog barking on N. Main St.
On April 6, Officers located a white dog running around Erie St. They were successful with reuniting the dog with owner.
On April 6, Antwerp police department was contacted in reference to a domestic violence issue in the 100 block of S. Main. As a result, 2 individuals were taken to the hospital and a complaint warrant was issued and one of the individuals was arrested.
On April 7, The police department received a 911 hangup from a resident on River St. An officer went there and determined it was an accident.
On April 7, Members of Antwerp police department took park in training at Antwerp local schools.
On April 8, A resident reported loose dog across the road from Riverside park. Officer responded and attempted to locate the dog.
On April 8, A resident reported a child custody issue. The incident was documented.
On April 8, A resident reported that he lost a small Samsung phone. He stated he believed he lost it at the ball park
On April 8, Vehicles on Main St. were cited for overtime parking.
On April 10, A person reported they lost a pink wallet somewhere in the village. She was unsure of where exactly.
On April 10, A resident reported a junk vehicle on High St. The individual reported also that the resident was placing trash out too many days before trash pick up.
