With the victory, Wayne Trace claims an outright Green Meadows Conference championship on April 25th, 2023 as the Raiders improve to 12-1 overall and 6-0 in the league. It is the Raiders third GMC title in school history and second consecutive league crown after sharing with Tinora and Antwerp last season. Wayne Trace won an outright championship in 1987.
