On May 5, 2023, East Allen County Schools administrators visited each building and delivered a token of appreciation to every food service staff member in honor of National School Lunch Hero Day! Superintendent Hissong said, “It was a pleasure to thank our hard-working food service staff for their daily dedication to our students and staff as they provide nutritional meals. It was an awesome day.” Dan Krleski, Director of Food Service said, “We thank our Central Office staff for taking the time and effort to deliver these tokens to Food Service staff! Many have expressed their gratitude for thinking of them today!”
