The Paulding County Retired Teachers Association recently awarded scholarships to 3 Paulding County high school seniors who plan to enter the field of education. Lydia Krouse, Jacob Martinez and Brielle Sheets will each receive a $500 scholarship.

Krouse is a graduate of Antwerp High School. She is the daughter of Michael and April Krouse. She plans to attend Bowling Green State University where she will major in Middle Childhood Education.

Martinez, a graduate of Paulding High School, is the son of Melissa Martinez. He plans to attend Defiance College where he will major in Secondary Education.

Sheets, a Vantage/Wayne Trace graduate, is the daughter of Jason and Carrie Sheets. She plans to attend Ohio Northern University where she will major in Early Childhood Education.
