Besides her Savior and hope of salvation, Annabell’s greatest treasure was her family. She was thankful to have been able to stay at home and be in the assisted care of her sister and family. She is survived by her sister, Carolyn (James) Spangler of Paulding, and brother, Alvin (Betty, deceased) Manz of Defiance. She loved her 2 grandchildren like her own children, Elizabeth (Doug) Reinhard and Wendell Spangler and Lisa Klinebriel, fiancee; 7 great-grandchildren of who called her Nana: Jonathan (Kyla) Reinhard, Emily (Noah) Butler, Samuel Reinhard, Hudson, Ella, and Sophia Spangler and Avery Klinebriel; one great-great grandchild: Kai Butler, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Annabell thoroughly enjoyed making someone else’s day a little brighter. Her quiet example was an inspiration to all that knew her. She was remembered by many for her hobby of collecting over 5,000 sets of salt and pepper shakers. She attended the Junction Apostolic Christian Church in Defiance, Ohio and became a member on December 31, 1944 at the tender age of 17. She attended the Rose Hill School and Paulding High School. She worked at the Paulding County Hospital and at Brune Printing Company where she retired at the age of 64.
