Woodlan will be represented at the Indiana High School Athletic Association state track meet on June 2nd as Sam Handerson moved on for the Warriors.
Handerson advanced to the state meet with a third-place finish in the 100-meter dash, finishing with a time of 10.85 seconds.
He also placed in the 200-meter dash but just finished moving on to the state meet, taking sixth overall in 22.45 seconds.
In the long jump, Handerson leaped 21-7 to record a fourth-place finish.
Woodlan’s 400-meter relay squad of C.J. Handerson, Sam Handerson, Michael Mackin and June Suel took fifth place with a time of 43.33 seconds.
Sam Handerson competed in State track & field tournament on June 2nd at Jerome Harrison field in Jeffersonville, IN.
In the 100m Dash Handerson crossed the finish line at 11.02 seconds in the Prelimslanding him the 20th place slot in the State for the 100m Dash.
