PAULDING, OH:
Howard R. Oskey, age 84, passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at the Gardens of Paulding.
Howard was born on May 13, 1939 in Sherwood, OH to the late Stanley and Gertrude (Decker) Oskey. On October 14, 1961 he married the love of his life, Beverly Klingler, who survives. Howard proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He worked for B.F. Goodrich for 32.5 years before his retirement in 1994. Howard was a member of the Paulding V.F.W. Post 587 and the Paulding United Methodist Church.
Along with his wife, Howard is survived by his daughters: Lorraine (Harold) Gottke, Paulding, OH; Diane Oskey, Paulding, OH; four granddaughters: Heather Gottke, Elizabeth Zartman, Brittany (Jacob) Turner, and Chelsea (Zach) Hitchcock; nine great grandchildren.
Howard is also preceded in death by his brother, Herm Oskey and sister, Dean Kuhlman.
Memorial service will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at Den Herder Funeral Home with military rites accorded by the Paulding V.F.W. Post 587.
Calling hours will be from 4:00 P.M. until time of services on Tuesday.
