The preparations for Vacation Bible School (VBS) at Antwerp Global Methodist Church are under way and workers are getting Fired Up for this year’s adventure. Lessons, crafts, and decorations are being prepared. The building is being transformed into a castle atmosphere.
VBS is a week of adventure and excitement for children Pre-K through 5th grade to learn about God. For 2023 the adventure will take place July 17-21 in the evenings from 6:00 to 8:30. The week will be followed by a Celebration of Worship at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, July 23 at the church located at 202 E. River Street and them a picnic in Veteran’s Memorial park for the entire family.
This year’s theme is Keepers of the Kingdom. Lessons will focus on putting on Godly Spiritual Armor to help us stand strong in today’s Battle for Truth.
Pre-Registration is encouraged but not necessary and can be done by visiting the church website at www.antwerpmethodistchurch.org. Click on “Ministries”, then VBS.

St. John Lutheran VBS: Hay Day
Have you herd? Get ready for acres of fun! So get moooooovin to make plans to attend VBS at St John Lutheran, 812 East High Street, Hicksville.
Our theme this year is Hay Day. VBS will be from July 17 – 20. Farm fun begins at 5:40 pm with a lite meal then VBS will start at 6 pm. The cows will come home at 8 pm. At Hay Day VBS, kids grow in friendship with Jesus.
The VBS is filled with incredible Bible-learning experiences kids see, hear and touch. Team-building games, cool Bible songs, and multi-sensory Bible adventures are just a few of the activities that help faith flow into real life. Kids should wear play clothes and safe shoes.

Harlan Church of Christ VBS: Building Blocks of Faith
Harlan Church of Christ will be hosting a Vacation Bible School, July 16-20 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. This VBS is for all children Pre-K through 4th grade with special events for 5th and 6th graders as well.
