New Haven Parks & Recreation’s premier July event, MUSIC, MARKET & MUNCHIES, is back for the 6th year of this community celebration of summer. The Market has over 50 booths at Schnelker Park with fresh produce, craft & artisan items, sweet treats, gluten-free goodies, pet products, jewelry, handmade items and so much more! The Munchies include food trucks each week including One Love, Bravas, New Haven SnoBiz, ZipNGo, King Arthur’s Trolley, Drop-It-Like-Its-Tot, Handels Ice Cream, Baby Got Smac, Local Apple Cart, New Haven Lions Club, & Twist. For those 21 and older there is a beer & wine tent. A portion of all proceeds is being donated to the New Haven Parks Department for future summer programming.
Bring a lawn chair or blanket to Schnelker Park to enjoy Music at free concerts each week from 5 – 8pm. July 19 Dan & The Iconics, and on July 26 The Hubie Ashcraft Band will rock the park. Come shop, eat, visit with your neighbors, enjoy the music on these summer nights.
