We are so blessed most churches do not have any musicians and we have three. Today was the perfect day to honor them. Colleen Richter has been playing since high school, Sharon Colley started playing after a former musician became ill and Rebekah Smith has played since her Freshman year in high school in Macon, Ga. She has a total of over 60 years and the other two would probably combine to over 150 years of making beautiful church music. All three not only play at our church but share their talents at other churches, funerals and weddings. Each was presented a floral arrangement, card and cross ornament with their name, favorite hymn and today’s date. These were created by the Country Petal Flower Shop!
This was a surprise for the ladies… thanks to their relatives and friends who came to support them.
