The Machinist Group of Northeast Indiana invites you to attend the 26th annual Pete Menger Model Engine and Hobby Show on October 14, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This year’s show has a new venue, the pavilion at Monroeville Community Park in Monroeville, Indiana (421 Monroe St, Monroeville Indiana).
This is a truly free show. There are no costs to be a spectator or an exhibitor.
This year’s show promises to be an eye opening event. You can see steam engines, sterling engines , internal combustion engines, and hit & miss engines. All engines are machined by our members.
These engines range is physical size from tiny enough to fit in the palm of your hand, to large enough to take up most of your coffee table. All are perfectly finished , looking like a fine work of art.
Twenty-six years ago, founding member Heinz “Pete” Menger wanted to display his collection of engines, and thus began our annual engine and hobby show,. Now all these years later, we honor Pete’s vision by naming this show after him & his legacy as a craftsman.
