PAULDING, OH:
Laresa C. Johnston, age 69, passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at Lima Memorial Hospital, Lima, OH.
Laresa was born on August 15, 1954 in Paulding, OH to Russell Holtsberry, Jr. and Mary Justine Keck. For the past ten years, Laresa has been working as a job coach for Paulding County Job and Family Services. Laresa loved many things, such as bingo, music, nature, and going on long drives. Although, she loved nothing more than her family.
Laresa is survived by her mother, Justine; daughters: Caryn Johnston, Paulding, OH; Cathy Johnston, Cecil, OH; brother, Mark W. (Lisa A.) Holtsberry, Paulding, OH; sister, Teresa J. Holtsberry, Clarksville, TN; grandchildren: Eugene, Burgundie, Karl, Jakob, Lexi, and Maggie.
Laresa was preceded in death by her father, Russell.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at Den Herder Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Hofacker officiating. Burial will follow in Bowholtz Cemetery, Jackson Township.
Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M – 8:00 P.M. on Monday, October 9, 2023 at Den Herder Funeral Home. There will also be visitation from 10:00 A.M. until time of services on Tuesday.
Memorial contributions may be made in Laresa’s memory to Paulding County Relay for Life.
