Antwerp Chamber of Commerce will be once again sponsoring a Shop Small event on November 25th. A Welcome Center will be set up at the Antwerp Global Methodist Church beginning at 9:00 a.m. Stop there to receive your Shop Small tote bag & be ready to fill it up at the GMC Bazaar or at one of the numerous Chamber member businesses participating in Small Business Saturday. From Ties & Bows, Pierce Automotive & Junque on the edges of town to the downtown businesses, be ready for holiday gift shopping. Check out the Antwerp Chamber of Commerce ad on page 6 for a listing of all the Antwerp Chamber of Commerce businesses who will be supporting Small Business Saturday 2023.
Shop Small was born in 2010. In 2017 there were more than 7,200 neighborhood champions across all 50 states. Business associations, non-profits, municipalities and public officials formed the Small Business Saturday Coalition.
As communities continue to unite around Shop Small, it is moving from a cause to a day of celebration for our smaller communities. 90% of people surveyed said that Small Business Saturday has had a positive effect in their community.
