SHERWOOD, OH:
David L. Williamson, age 70, passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2023 at his residence.
David was born on November 16, 1953 in Paulding County, OH to the late Kenneth and Elizabeth (Treece) Williamson. On May 1, 1998, he married Raye Mays, who survives. For 27 years, David worked for GM Powertrain in Defiance before his retirement in 1999. After retirement, David worked for Coopers Hatchery. He was a devoted member of Grace Bible Church in Van Wert, OH and a member of the Antwerp Conservation Club.
Along with his loving wife, David is survived by his sons: John (Katie) Williamson, Toledo, OH; Michael Adam Moser, Sherwood, OH; Larry Travis Sherry, Lake Seneca, OH; Brandon (Sarah) Sherry, Nashville, TN; daughters: Christy (Jeremy) Fife, Paulding, OH; Lisa (Brandon) McDougal, Paulding, OH; Jessica Verfaillie, Toledo, OH; brother, Rex (Teresa) Williamson, Paulding, OH; grandchildren: Jacob Fife, Megan Fife, Julianna (Riley) Coil, Bela McDougal, Lilly Williamson, Parker Williamson, Madison Verfaillie, Brooklyn Verfaillie, Sam Verfaillie, Kylar (Logan) Hasch, Brayden Sherry, Taylor Sherry, Devan Sherry, Trenetie Ream, Parker Serrano, Cooper Sherry, Honor Moser, Alivia Moser, Autumn Moser, Gabriel Moser; great grandchildren: Rilynn, Ayven, Eberlyn, Amelia.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Grace Bible Church, Van Wert, with Pastor Lance Hostetler officiating. Burial will follow in St. Paul Cemetery, Paulding Township.
Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until time of services on Saturday at the church.
