PAULDING – New Paulding boys basketball coach Logan Stoller was victorious in his first game as head coach of the Panthers as the maroon and white rolled to a 50-24 victory over visiting Continental Friday night.
The maroon and white led at every stop, taking a 14-9 lead at the end of one period before seizing a commanding 30-13 halftime advantage.
Paulding added eight markers in the third quarter while Continental bucketed seven, expanding the margin to 38-20 entering the final period.
The maroon and white were paced by Grady Barton and Casey Agler with 11 markers each while Blake Rhonehouse chipped in ten points for Paulding.
Other scorers for the Panthers were Greyson Harder (seven), Kane Jones (six), Max Daeger (three) and Luke Beckman (two).
Mason Rayle paced the Pirates with ten markers and Jonathan Etter chipped in seven points.
Monty Rayle (five), Carson Etter (one) and Quinn Tegenkamp (one) also found the scoring column for Continental.
