Ronin a 3rd grader at New Haven Intermediate has a dream to become an EMT and work on an ambulance someday. He met Mr. Scott Mabee at church and they struck up a friendship. Mr. Mabee offered to help Ronin get CPR certified and learn some of the skills that an EMT is required to know. He joined Mr. Mabee’s EMT class at the East Allen Career Center the morning of Friday, December 8th met the students, learned some of the skills and then took his CPR class. Mr. Mabee believes that Ronin is the youngest person in the United States to earn their CPR certification.
