Western Buckeye ESC School Board Member Jerry Zielke has retired after 40 years of school board service. Jerry served on the Paulding County School Board, which merged with the Van Wert County School Board to form the Western Buckeye ESC. He had also served on the Vantage Career Center School Board at one point in his career.
Jerry was recognized for his years of service at the Western Buckeye ESC’s December meeting. The board and administration expressed a heartfelt thank you to Jerry for his many years of service. There have been many changes locally in education during his tenure, and his impactful service during this time was greatly appreciated.
