LATTY, OH:
Melvene Ida Stoller, 90, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2024 at the Country Inn Enhanced Living, Latty, Ohio.
Melvene was born November 3, 1933 in Fairbury, Illinois to the late Mike and Ida (Grueter) Zimmerman. On December 27, 1953 in Latty, Ohio she married Russell Stoller who preceded her in death. They were happily married for 68 years. She was a homemaker, a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Melvene was a member of the Latty Apostolic Christian Church where she enjoyed teaching Sunday school. Melvene and Russell wintered in Zapata, Texas for 23 years.
She is survived by her children, Craig (Ruth) of Latty Ohio, RobIn (Joanne) of Creston, Ohio, Todd (Pamela) of Payne Ohio, Diane (Tom) Hartzler of Rittman, Ohio, Theresa (Kim) Maynard of Bryan Ohio; 30 grandchildren, 87 great grandchildren, and one great, great grandchild.
She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Dolores Van Norman, Marjorie Gerber; brothers, Eldon, Earl, and Kenneth Zimmerman, and two great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at Latty Apostolic Christian Church with church clergymen officiating. Burial will follow in Latty Apostolic Christian Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at Latty Apostolic Christian Church Fellowship Hall. There will also be visitation from 9:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M. on Thursday at the church.
