On January 10, a minor motor vehicle accident was reported in the parking lot of the Oasis Bar & Grill.
On January 10, a village employee reported a suspicious vehicle parked at the drive to the Sewer Plant. The officer responded and verified the owner of the vehicle. The owner moved the vehicle.
On January 10, a resident of W River St reported she was being harassed by an ex-boyfriend.
On January 12, through an investigation an officer determined that a resident of Canal St was driving with a suspended license and no insurance. The owner of the vehicle will be cited.
On January 12, a resident of the village requested that officers keep the peace while belongings were being removed from a house.
On January 13, a third party caller reported a domestic incident on Main Street. Officers responded and found that nothing had occurred.
On January 13, a telephone line was found down across Erie St. The officer moved the line and reported it.
On January 13, a water main break was reported to the police. The officer found the break and reported it to the Village Administrator.
On January 13, a resident reported a suspicious vehicle at a local business. The officer found nothing suspicious.
On January 14, a resident of Main Street reported their juvenile grandson had taken their vehicle without permission. The juvenile was on probation and the juvenile was arrested and the vehicle was returned home.
On January 20, a person reported open burning near the intersection of Erie and Waterplant Drive. The responding officer did not see any open burning.
On January 21, a call was received in reference to a person suffering from mental illness. An officer arrived and was assisted by the Paulding Sheriff’s Office and the person was taken to the Defiance Regional Coping Center.
On January 22, officers went to the Women’s Reformatory in Marysville, OH where they interviewed an inmate.
On January 23, a resident from Daggett Street reported that a resident from Paulding threatened him and took a vehicle from his residence. He did not want anyone charged, only to document what occurred.
On January 24, a dog was reported by residents on Victory Lane by the storage units. The dog was located and found to be home.
