Charles A. McCalla, of Richardson Texas passed away, after a brief stay, at Methodist Hospital on March 1, 2024. Charles was born on March 10, 1954 in Antwerp Ohio and was a son of the late Eugene and Catharine (Heck) McCalla. Charles was preceded in death by his sister Delores and his brothers Edward and Robert. His sister Patricia passed away on March 9, 2024. Charles is survived by his siblings Mary, Michael, Alice, David and Anthony. He was a 1972 graduate of Antwerp High School in Antwerp, Ohio. Charles later trained as a Barber and had his Boat Captain’s license. He was a Christian and a Patriot who generously gave his time, talents and his treasure to help others. Charles enjoyed family dinners, helping his neighbors, doing handy man work and he absolutely loved his “Pups”. Charles will be greatly missed by all who knew him. There was a memorial service held on March 12, 2024 at Calvary Chapel in Plano TX.
